Orange. We love adding a splash of orange in our projects. Orange creates a warm, cheerful atmosphere that feels welcoming. From tangerine to terracotta, orange always adds energy to a space.
You can add just a little of it in a pillow, artwork, or accent piece of furniture, or commit to it with an accent wall! One of the reasons we love adding orange to our projects is that we love designing with blue hues. Orange and blue go exceptionally well together because they are complementary colors, sitting opposite each other on the color wheel.
Orange is a classic color in Mid-Century Modern interiors and is heavily featured in our Iconic Mid Mod Interior project. We first fell in love with the orange paint color we selected for the front door of the home, so much so that we decided to custom-match the color for the kitchen backsplash! It really pops with the walnut cabinets.
