Industrial Hilltop House

Summary:  This industrial interior design project began with a new build home on a beautiful hilltop site. From the start, the goal was to create a home that felt bold, refined, and full of personality.  The home’s industrial style came to life through strong architectural details. Exposed ductwork added character and edge. In addition, a metal-look tiled fireplace created a striking focal point in the living space.

The kitchen also played an important role in the design. A metal-backed island helped carry the industrial look into the heart of the home. As a result, the kitchen feels both rugged and polished.  To keep the home from feeling cold or sterile, we added a vibrant color palette. Red, orange, and teal accents bring warmth, energy, and personality to the space. These bold colors also help balance the harder industrial finishes.  Throughout the home, each design choice was made with intention. The mix of metal-inspired finishes, concrete floors, and colorful accents creates a strong visual story. At the same time, the design still feels comfortable and livable.

The bathroom offers a softer moment within the home. While the rest of the house features bold color and industrial details, the bathroom feels calm and serene. Soft wall colors and sleek concrete floors create a peaceful retreat.

The hilltop views also shaped the feeling of the home. Because of the home’s setting, we wanted the interiors to feel connected to the landscape. The finished design now balances dramatic style with a sense of calm.  In the end, this Industrial Hilltop House became a bold and memorable home. It blends rugged industrial details, vibrant color, and refined finishes into a space designed for everyday luxury.
