When we were brought onto the Zen Modern Manor project, it was a track home in the beginning stages of being built. Our client wanted to take the blank slate and fill it with personality and make it represent her design style, which was a combination of Mid Century Modern and Zen. She was not afraid of bold pops of color which we were excited by!

To start personalizing the space, we updated the flooring throughout, chose special backsplash tiles, and added wallpaper to the primary bedroom, laundry room, and office. We also selected the electric blue accent wall in the dining room! All the custom window treatments were added in, including building a soffit in the family room to hide the drapery track and modernize the large wall of windows.

We also added furniture to the entire home. Our client had the dining set and the Eames chair in the office, but we sourced everything else including art and light fixtures! We had a blast mixing the modern elements in the Mid-Century Modern and Zen design styles for the furniture selections. The clean lines, pops of color, and natural elements all play together to create a joyful yet calming space.

Here are a few of our favorite moments, but make sure you check out all the pictures on our portfolio! If you are ready to start your home makeover journey, book a Discovery Call to learn more about how we can help.
