We’ve noticed a rising trend lately: incorporating pieces of art in the kitchen! Not in a nearby dining nook or an adjacent wall, but actually in the kitchen, sometimes with a designated spotlight for the art. This trend adds a lot of personality and charm to a space that can sometimes feel cold and utilitarian. Art breaks up the backsplash and adds life where you wouldn’t expect it!
We do have some questions, however. Primarily, how are the art pieces that are placed near a sink or stove protected so it or the frame isn’t harmed by water or grease splatter? We don’t know the answers to that yet, but we hope to find out!
