It’s that time of year again – Fall! We love when the weather changes, leaves start turning pretty colors, and the pace of everything seems to slow down. Of course, we think that nothing is better than bringing all the comfort and joy of Fall into the home, and there are some easy ways to do this. Here are three easy tips for bringing fall decor into your home!

Chunky Textures
An easy way to make your home feel cozy for Fall is to add chunky textures to your space. This is super simple but makes a big impact! All you need to do is swap out your throw pillows and blankets for knit options. If your throw pillows are the type with a cover, this is even easier! You can just have different covers you store during the year and pull out as the seasons change. You can also add big woven baskets, either as wall decor or sitting on the floor near your seating arrangements for throw blankets to go into, will also add a touch of rustic comfort to the room.
Natural Elements
Adding autumn botanicals, garlands, and gourds instantly adds the feeling of Fall to a room! These can be real or fake, but either way, consider all the ways you can add these elements – to take tops in vases or bowls, to stair railings, mantels, or right on the floor. Using natural elements is also a great way to decorate your front porch for fall! Adding piles of pumpkins, bails of hay, corn stalks, or a wreath to your front door will do the trick.
Update Your Color Pallet
Another easy thing to do is to update your color pallet to feel more autumnal. This integrates directly into the two previous tips because it can easily be done while you are checking them off the list. Some of your botanicals, faux pumpkins, pillows, and blankets can be in the warm color pallet associated with Fall and ta-da, you’re updating your color pallet with the season! An extra step could be swapping out or adding seasonal themed art to your walls.
We hope these tips are helpful as you start decorating your home for the season! Please let us know if you have any other strategies you use when decorating your home for Fall, and we will see you next time!
