Summary:  This Spanish revival interior design project began with a home that already had good bones. However, it needed thoughtful updates to become the colorful, character-filled dream home our clients imagined.  Our clients loved Spanish-style design. They also wanted to bring in color, pattern, texture, and warmth throughout the home. Because they trusted our recommendations, we had the creative freedom to explore bold design choices while still honoring their vision.

The living room fireplace was one of the first areas we updated. We redesigned the fireplace surround to better reflect the home’s Spanish revival style. As a result, the living room gained a stronger focal point with more charm and character.

Each of the three bathrooms was also completely gutted. From there, we reworked the layouts and selected all new finishes. These updates transformed the bathrooms into fresh, functional, and highly personal spaces.  Pattern and color played a major role in the bathroom designs. We explored tile, finishes, and details that added richness and personality to each room. In particular, the bathroom sink bowls became a favorite feature. Their intricate blue and red pattern, paired with a full-height backsplash, created a memorable and artistic moment.

We also furnished every room in the home. This included furniture, lighting, window treatments, and decorative accents. Each piece was selected to support the home’s Southwest Spanish revival style while also making the rooms comfortable for everyday living.  Art was another important part of the design. Our client loves collecting beautiful and unique pieces, so we made space for art throughout the home. These pieces added even more color, meaning, and individuality to the finished design.

In the end, this Southwest Spanish revival home became warm, layered, and full of life. With its colorful finishes, patterned details, custom furnishings, and meaningful art, the home now feels like a true haven for our clients.
